Lacies, also known as Fantasy Girl is Folkestone's version of Ann Summers.

The independently owned store mainly sells lingerie and shoes, all of which are locally sourced. Owner Sue Sheppard, has been running the store since 1994.

The business began out of Mrs Sheppard's home where she made a lot of her own specialist clothing for events in the South East.

From this the company grew and intially become an online store much like Boohoo.com and Asos.com are now. From the success online she was able to start up a shop which has been open since 1998.
